Skeeter owned Jean Conroy and has left a huge void in the Sea Breeze
household. Ski, you left way too soon. I only wish I could have been with
you when you left to cross the Rainbow Bridge. However, your 2nd mom, Gayle,
who loved you just as much as I did, was there to make the journey as easy
as possible. I'm sure Pistol, Buddy, Billy, Candy and all the others who
have gone before you were there to meet you and show you where the food is
and have taken you under their paws to show you the ropes. Til we meet
again sweet girl.

In Loving Memory of MAXWELL
Our beloved Leonberger, Maxwell, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday,
February 8, 2009. He was eight and one-half years of age and lost his courageous six month battle with Cancer. Max was, without question, the best dog in the universe! Max received his Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International certificateswhile still under two years of age. Later he received his Companion Dog Obedience title and then became the first Leonberger to receive a Rally Obedience title under the AKC.
Maxwell was the unofficial mascot of the Nansemond Suffolk Academy for seven years( He even had his own football jersey). Max participated in many school activities, Pep Rallies, Halloween Costume contest with his master, as well as the Relay For Life teams known as Max.s Mates, helping to raise money to fight Cancer. Max even participated in the 2004 Mock Political Electioning at NSA.
When he visited the Nursing Home, word would go up and down the halls .Here comes the Pony.. As a giant breed dog (he weighed 125 lbs and stood 32 inches at the shoulder), the description was accurate.
Maxwill be greatly missed by all who met and loved him. He was the greatest! We know he will be waiting for us when our time comes to cross the Rainbow Bridge.
